Hand-woven on ancient bamboo looms, this handsome Organic, Eri (cruelty-free) or peace silk scarf is created in 3 days by women weavers of the indigenous Bodo tribe from India. Eri or Peace Silk is spun from vacant cocoons of silk worms - after the worm having metamorphosed into a moth, flies out. Therefore, unlike conventional silks, it does not involve boiling and in the process killing of the worms. This results in a greater degree of fiber purity and luster. It is lightweight, elegant and perfect for any season and occasion. Eri silk keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter.
- 100% organic silk
