Eri or Peace Silk is spun from vacant cocoons of silk worms - after the worm having metamorphosed into a moth, flies out. Therefore, unlike conventional silks, it does not involve boiling and in the process killing of the worms. Eri silk keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter.
