THE MAKERS:
This piece is entirely handmade by brothers Niroj and Nirajan in Kathmandu, using traditional Newari techniques that are ethnic to their group in Nepal. They come from a long lineage of craftsmen - these Newari techniques have been perfected, preserved, and passed down to them through many generations in their families.
This talisman reads 'Familia Supra Omnia' in Latin, which means 'Family Above All'. The oak tree symbolizes a generational bond, while the winged heart represents the protection of loved ones.
