Remember the light you carry in this world, a birthmark from the stars. It is there in your song, there in your footprint, there in the way you give to everyone around you.
Profits from the sale of the Lightkeeper bracelet directly fund Pure Art Foundation's day care centre in the slums of Pucallpa, Peru. The day-care, and this bracelet, commemorate the life and work of Ben McKinnon: a talented visionary and artist who left footprints of light in this world.
May this bracelet remind us of those who came before us, of the love they gave and the light they were.

Traditionally used to make pea coats for mariners, the dense weave of melton makes it superbly resistant to both water and wind. A meticulously constructed shirt for the inclement weather of the Pacific Northwest, our versatile Modern Melton Wool is a contemporary take on a timeless design—made from warm post-consumer recycled wool, it’s soft, sturdy and naturally insulating, with elevated comfort and breathability for all-day wear. As our wool has already lived a previous life—the source garments are carefully salvaged before being sorted, processed and re-woven—it also features a felt-like touch that’s smoother than other wools, and it’s manufactured in a unique, dye-free process that saves water and eliminates the need for harmful chemical dyes. Our most durable and heaviest-weight shirt, the Modern Melton is finished with a button-down collar, a drop-in chest pocket, double-button sleeve plackets and a curved hem; the two-tone buttons are based on Canadian military buttons from the Second World War. A double yoke lies comfortably on the shoulders and adds additional weather protection, and a box pleat allows more freedom of movement across the back.
Made in Canada.
MATERIAL
17-oz 80% post-consumer recycled wool/20% nylon. Warm, durable and naturally weather-resistant, this comfortable blend is manufactured in a unique dye-free process for reduced environmental impact. Melton starts out a touch stiff, but softens quickly with wear. Our traditional tailored fit has a moderately slim cut; to wear the Modern Melton as an overcoat, or to fit a more robust frame, we recommend moving up one size. For further details, see our sizing chart.Wash in cold water and hang to dry. Melton wool is naturally anti-bacterial and stain-resistant, and to reduce energy and water use, we recommend washing only when necessary. Less washing also gives your garments a longer life.
