The body of these beautiful backpacks is made from sisal fibre. They are handwoven by women in Kenya. These women pull the outer layers of the Sisal plant, so as not to destroy or kill it.
Before they can begin to weave they have to boil and dye the sisal in order to make the vibrant colours displayed on these bags. One bag is carefully weaved together over a period of 2-3 weeks.
These backpacks boast a multitude of vibrant colours. They have a stylish bucket bag shape and are great for students or for a spontaneous day trip.
