Chadani is Nepali for Moonlight - Handmade Silver Earrings

Certified Sterling Silver and entirely made by hand. These earrings showcase a pattern called 'chasing'. This pattern is created by a special hammering technique which gives birth to these very fine yet intricate spiral patterns.

Each pair are unique and one of a kind.

THE MAKERS
This piece is made by brothers Niroj and Nirajan in Kathmandu, Nepal, using traditional Newari techniques that are ethnic to their group in Nepal. They come from a long lineage of craftsmen - these Newari techniques have been perfected, preserved, and passed down to them through many generations in their families.

The owl on this talisman denotes one who acts on opportunities and has a clear vision of a desired outcome. The key is symbolic of the reward obtained by forging your own path.

Most importantly, the women behind this one of a kind bangle gain the dignity of work and self sufficiency while maintaining the Zulu weaving traditions.
