MEN CLOTHES
Some of our favorite designs have been around longer than we have. Inspired by men’s coats of the mid-20th century, the new Eddie Florenzia is a simple, versatile front-zip for cold weather layering. We've modernized its classic template with a more contemporary fit and the sturdy, post-consumer recycled Agnello wool we use in our Field Coat. While lowering its environmental impact with no new chemical dyes, we’ve also made it as streamlined as possible for town or the wild—a convertible collar, two front pockets, single-button sleeve cuffs, and a brass zipper with storm placket to seal out the wind. Though it draws on the past, we're proud to introduce the Eddie as a new staple that will last for years.

Traditionally used to make pea coats for mariners, the dense weave of melton makes it superbly resistant to both water and wind. A meticulously constructed shirt for the inclement weather of the Pacific Northwest, our versatile Modern Melton Wool is a contemporary take on a timeless design—made from warm post-consumer recycled wool, it’s soft, sturdy and naturally insulating, with elevated comfort and breathability for all-day wear. As our wool has already lived a previous life—the source garments are carefully salvaged before being sorted, processed and re-woven—it also features a felt-like touch that’s smoother than other wools, and it’s manufactured in a unique, dye-free process that saves water and eliminates the need for harmful chemical dyes. Our most durable and heaviest-weight shirt, the Modern Melton is finished with a button-down collar, a drop-in chest pocket, double-button sleeve plackets and a curved hem; the two-tone buttons are based on Canadian military buttons from the Second World War. A double yoke lies comfortably on the shoulders and adds additional weather protection, and a box pleat allows more freedom of movement across the back.

Easy like Sunday morning, our go-to midweight flannel is soft on the skin without being hard on the Earth. To reduce its environmental impact, we make the Sunday Flannel shirt from smooth and comfortable post-consumer recycled cotton, and our unique manufacturing process is entirely dye-free—the source garments are carefully salvaged and hand-sorted by colour before they’re recycled, saving water and eliminating the need for harmful chemical dyes. Warm and sturdy with a soft, brushed finish, we’ve leaned into a more casual look with the design—matte buttons, double-button sleeves that roll up easily, and no chest pockets or button-down collars in sight. But we’ve also kept a curved hem and handsomely tailored fit that makes it proper enough for any occasion—while still keeping that laidback feel on any day of the week.

Twill has been used for centuries to produce sturdy fabrics, and from work shirts to your favourite denim, you’ll still find its diagonal weave standing up to wear and tear all over the world. Our hearty Twill Overshirt is a bit different, however—figuring you shouldn’t have to trade comfort for strength, we make it from supple, smooth-wearing post-consumer recycled cotton that combines steadfast warmth and durability with the combed softness of flannel. An ideal option for those who don’t like the feel of wool, it needs no break-in and lies easily against the skin; like many Anián shirts, it’s also manufactured in a unique, dye-free process that reduces wastewater and eliminates the need for harmful chemical dyes. Designed to be worn over a T-shirt or as an additional layer in cool weather, it features a roll collar that can be stood up against the wind, a double yoke that rests comfortably across the shoulders, double-button sleeve plackets and a curved hem.
