Specializing in Ethnographic Textiles, this throw is woven by women artisans in Myanmar from pure cotton using a back strap loom. Yoyamay supports groups of weavers – about 200 weavers in total – scattered across Southern Chin State. Some of them weave at their individual homes while others gather at one place and weave.

Traditional Chin Textiles use pure cotton and silk.
Dyes are indigo and other vegetable dyes.
Textiles are woven on backstrap looms.
Patterns and motifs reflect Chin culture and the environment.
