 Specializing in Ethnographic Textiles,  this throw is woven by women artisans in Myanmar from pure cotton using a back strap loom.  Yoyamay supports groups of weavers – about 200 weavers in total – scattered across Southern Chin State. Some of them weave at their individual homes while others gather at one place and weave. 
  • Traditional Chin Textiles use pure cotton and silk.
  • Dyes are indigo and other vegetable dyes.
  • Textiles are woven on backstrap looms.
  • Patterns and motifs reflect Chin culture and the environment.
