Kisii soapstone is a unique and beautiful metamorphic rock in the Tabaka Hills of Kisii County, Kenya. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, showcasing the artistry and cultural heritage of the Kisii people.

They are meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The stone is carefully mined by hand and then carved using simple tools like chisels, hammers, and knives. After carving, the pieces are sanded, polished, and sometimes dyed with natural colours.
